Summer is coming to an end. The heat is going back to the south where it belongs. Except London can't catch a break from the deadly heat. Keep in mind they don't have air conditioners like here in America.
Here's what a did over the summer this year. Adding that we did have a a hot summer with some ninety degree heat waves. Particularly in July and some of the days in August. But usually August is a brutal. But this year it's been perfect.
June
If anyone remembers, my birthday is the day after the first day of Summer. I went to the Hamptons. I wanted to see what it was like over there. Whenever I read the Daily Mail, a lot of the times celebrities like the Kardashians tend to spend some of their summer there. You're probably thinking to yourselves, "Ew she watches the Kardashians." No, I don't watch the show, but I do like to keep up with the latest news about their kids. Who by the way are the cutest little darlings. July
My parents and I went to Tuscarora in Mount Bethel Pennsylvania. This year we took my little cousins Henry whose six and William whose four. It was their first time. I learned that Henry loves swings. William loved the park. This year at Tuscarora, they had a Hawaiian party. Full of bouncy houses, and games. I actually went on two different bouncy houses. That's when I discovered I'm officially too old for that stuff. (ðŸ˜) Oh and of course the boys loved the pool. The weather was actually perfect (sunny no rain) the heat was horrible but it always gets hot in PA.
Henry and I had some bonding time together. We went to the snack shop and had ice cream. Afterwards I took him to the gift shop and told him he could pick out something that's under five dollars. He got a teddy bear for himself and one for his brother. Then we we went to the swings and talked for a good thirty minutes. It was a great week. Very happy the boys got to come with us.
August
In the second Saturday in August, my mom and I went to my Aunt Amy's house. We got to swim in her pool and spend time with my uncle's side of the family. It was a lot of fun. My uncle made the most delicious BBQ chicken and pork chops. Finish the great day with a cup of Irish tea.

The following weekend My parents and I went away to Bushkill Falls in Pennsylvania. We did the intense hike up and downstairs to see the Falls. It was so hot outside that were dripping with sweat from head to toe...gross. But we did learn one thing, that God's creation is absolutely beautiful. After grabbing lunch at Arby's, we went to our hotel and decided to go for a swim in the pool. Boy did that feel amazing. Afterwards we changed and decided to go mini golfing. Back to sweating again. It was so humid. You forget how HOT Pennsylvania gets until you out in it (😂) We went to one of my favorite restaurants The Longhorn. We don't have one in New York City. I love their BBQ grilled chicken and gravy. The gravy is to die for. But it gives me bad gas (😂😂🙈) We finished our Saturday by re watching Incredibles I.
On Sunday, we went to Walmart and got lots of stuff. Another thing we don't have in New York City. There is one in Long Island though. We had brunch at this other hotel restaurant (I forget the name) but the food was okay. But my parents enjoyed their BIG breakfast. We got milkshakes from Dairy Queen then drove home.
